Fields and behaviour

Publication date and timezone determine scheduling. Leave the date empty for immediate publication, or select a future time.
Tags support discovery. Source links and call-to-action destinations are optional.
Every field explained
- Title
- Write a specific public title that identifies the subject. Avoid a title consisting only of a promotion code or internal label.
- Short Description
- Write a useful summary for cards and discovery. Explain the subject without copying the full article into this field.
- Full Content
- Use headings to structure the article, lists for steps and descriptive links for references. Complete the English content before publication.
- Main Image Alt Text
- Describe what the main image communicates. Required English alt text is separate from the article title.
- Call-to-Action Label
- Write the action the customer will take, such as booking or viewing more information. The label is localized.
- Main Image
- Upload the image that represents this item on its card and detail view. Publishing requires a main image in this module.
- Gallery Images
- Use the gallery for useful additional views. Each image should add information, rather than repeat the same view.
- Video URL
- Enter a public video link. This is a URL field, not a video-file upload control.
- Source or External URL
- Use the public destination relevant to the source or redemption action shown beside this field. Check its instructions before entering a URL.
- Call-to-Action URL
- Enter the destination opened by the action button. Use a complete http:// or https:// address and verify that it opens the intended page.
- Publication Date and Time
- Choose a future publication date to schedule the Insight, or leave it empty for immediate publication when Published is saved.
- Timezone
- Confirm the timezone before setting dates. The same clock time in different timezones represents a different actual moment.
- Status
- Keep Draft while preparing content. Published requests publication and still requires all server validation rules to pass.
Before you continue
Publishing requires complete English content, English image alt text, and a main image. Archiving keeps the item stored and allows restoration to Draft.
Worked example
Example: turn a recurring customer question into a guide with a clear title, short summary, explanatory headings and an image whose alt text describes the subject. Link a relevant documentation section using its stable URL. Review the English title, summary, full content and image alt text before choosing Published.
When publication is blocked
Complete the English title, short description, content, and main-image alt text before publishing.
Add a main image before publishing.
If the error names English content, switch the workspace editing language to English and complete those fields. Re-saving the current translation alone will not satisfy that requirement.
